Kangan (cover) by Richa Sharma : Almost 50,000 hits in 15 days
Kangan : Cover sung by Richa Sharma has garnered half a lakh hits in half a month.
Kangan (Cover) ( by Richa Sharma) , a melodic pahadi song which expresses, feelings and emotions of a girl post her “Roka Ceremony”.
The song was composed and wrote by S. Preetam Singh Ji and the cover is sung beautifully by Richa Sharma.
The song cover was released on 12th of April 2017 and just in 15 days, it is approaching 50,000 hits.
“This song is our small tribute to the great artist.” Richa Sharma said while speaking about Preetam Singh. Richa earlier made her online debut with “Saayen Saayen” (Ravi) song which garnered over 120,000 hits on youtube.
Promoting the Himachali / Pahari culture by singing old Himachali folk in her voice and latest instruments, Richa is reviving the art amid the youth and fetching young audience back to their roots.
“Our Culture is our identity.” Said Sharma while talking about her new song.
The “Israj” part is played by Arshad khan(Performed at Coke Studio) and once again with his perfection on flutes, Ajay Prassanaji.
The song is produced by JhooriSongs and music is given by Haider Ali. Mandolin is performed by Amar Sangam and Rythem by Babby.
Guitar by Amar Sangam and Keys by Haider Ali. Percussionist is Sanket Athale and mixed by Dev Basak.
Swati Nayal ,Sejal (child artist) were the part of the cast and make up is done by Seema Sayal. The song is shot at ancient capital of Chamba, i.e. Bharmor and mighty Dhauladhars.
