Deepak Rathore Project’s previous album,’ Kaagaz Ki Naav’, which included hits such as ‘Shimla Tha Ghar’, Ja Tujhko’, Suna Pada’ and ‘ Pahadan’ were a massive success on youtube with the songs crossing the 3 million mark.

Deepak Rathore Project is one of the few independent artists who has constantly given us soothing and soulful music. In 2015 they were on ranked 41 in a competition organized by Sennheiserand improved to the Rank 14 Nationwide the following year.

His first album was a massive hit among the youth of North India and especially in Himachal Pradesh. In an interview, he revealed that his major influences Are from day to day life and from the people around. As the band is located near hills of Uttrakhand and Himachal a lot of influence comes from the sound of nature and folk sound of the hills. “We strive to write music that can inspire people, through tales of struggle and love,” revealed Deepak Rathore, the lead singer of the band.

“Recently he dropped his first single of his second album “Chup Sa shor” which was named “Duur Hai Vo.” This album/EP also includes 4 songs, like, ‘Duur Hai Vo’, which was recently shot in collaboration with iWoot Media.  The other songs in the album are ‘ Pankh tere’, ‘Talli’ and ‘Gayi to Gayi’.” told Atul Sharma, Deepak Rathore Project’s PRO on a telephonic interaction.
