Anurag ranked 11 in the prestigious Indian administrative services exam
Anurag Chander Sharma, a resident of Baijnath, Himachal Pradesh has brought proud to the state. He ranked 11 in the prestigious Indian administrative services entrance exam.
People like him proves that nothing is impossible for a willing heart. In 2014, he was ranked 416 and was allotted Indian revenue services but Anurag was not happy with that. He wrote the test again and now officially allocated to Indian administrative services.
Sharma wants Himachal cadre as he wants to work for the state and its development, Rajasthan is his second option for cadre as his father studied at Rajasthan back in his time.
When talked about the inspiration, he said that he was deeply inspired by his grandfather who took part in world war 2. He also said that the support and motivation he receives from his parents makes him a better person each and every second.
Sharma’s father, Punil Chander Sharma is a retired Commander from Indian navy. He credited his wife and Anurag’s mother for this astonishing success as she looked well after both the sons. Newly recruited IAS has one younger brother studying engineering.
